Hier entsteht mein Blog über Babelina & Button. Babelina & Button ist der Name für eine ganze Reihe von nützlichen und schönen Artikeln für Babies und Kinder. Alle diese Sachen werden in Hand- und Heimarbeit von mir hergestellt, aus qualitativ hochwertigen und dauerhaften Materialien wie Baumwollstoffe, Holz usw.
Wer kennt das nicht? Man sucht etwas Spezielles für ein kleines Kind, und findet nichts als Plastik oder Massenware aus Fernost. Gewiss, auch unter diesen Produkten mag es herzige Sachen geben, aber manchmal möchte man doch etwas haben, das einen an die eigene Kindheit erinnert, das aus natürlichen Materialien ist, bei dem es sich vielleicht sogar lohnt, es an die nächste Generation oder an andere Kinder weiterzugeben. Mir ist es so ergangen, und so entstand die Idee zu Babelina & Button. Seither sehe ich Artikel für Kleinkinder mit andern Augen, und immer mehr neue Ideen nehmen Gestalt an.
Es würde mich freuen, wenn auch Sie hier hin und wieder vorbeischauen und sich von der Welt von Babelina & Button faszinieren lassen!

Dear reader
I'm building my new blog about Babelina & Button. Babelina & Button stands for the things I make for the little ones. All of them are hand- and homemade by me, mostly from natural materials as wood, cotton etc.
Most parents and families know the situation - you're looking for something special for your little one, but so many things are mass-produced in Asia or made of plastic or synthetic fibers. Of course, some of these products are nice as well, but you probably were looking for something that reminds you your own childhood, something made of natural fibers, something worth giving to other children or even keeping for the next generation. That's how I felt about many things, and so Babelina & Button was born. Since then, I look at toys and children wear with different eyes, and new ideas are constantly born and realised in different projects.
